From this year, starting in March 2016, Pegasus ELS is promoting a combined programme for ICT and EFL skills, offering basic training in digital literacy for EFL students aged 12-19 (B1-B2 levels). The course will cover the following topics:
☆ Blogging (WordPress)
☆ Web Design (HTML, CSS)
☆ Social Media (Facebook, You Tube…)
☆ Presentation Skills (Microsoft PowerPoint, Prezi, Photoshop)
☆ Filmmaking and Video Editing Skills (bonus workshop)
Today, we live in a dynamic digital world where both educators and students are challenged with the ever changing technological developments. As a result, there is a growing need for a standardised educational approach in developing the digital skills, as a basic requirement for the students’ academic and professional advancement.
The course offers 30 hours of tuition by experienced ICT and EFL teachers over a period of 15 weeks.
This course is intended to introduce students with the most required ICT skills providing contents in English as a foreign language.
Therefore, we are taking a CBI approach, combining ICT with EFL skills, which will enable students to produce their own Blog Diaries, a Website about Tetovo Youth, Facebook Fan Pages promoting events, PPT Presentations on a variety of topics, as well as a video shared on You Tube.
Educate, create and promote your digital self in English with this combined course…
Be ahead of your time!
