Spending Your Free Time Around Tetovo

Have too much free time on your hands? Feel bored after you finish with school and other activities? Not sure where to go out with your friends? I know how it feels, since I’ve been through the same thing. So, I decided to write this article to help people spend their free time!

If you’re a young artist and want to hang out with your friends while you draw or paint, I suggest going to a cafè. I personally love going to small cafès with my friends, where we all draw and listen to music together. We discuss each other’s drawings and help each other out with our art. We sometimes even switch our drawings every few minutes! You can do the same, and remember: if you’re a young artist in Tetovo and you have no friends you can relate to about drawing, just hit me up!

Start a journal! I know, I know, but just hear me out. A lot of people say that starting and keeping up with a journal is too much work, and I actually  used to think the same. But you don’t have to write every single detail in it! You can just simply draw some doodles, stick some pictures and write small notes. It’s an amazing way to make a collection of moments you’ll always have!

We all listen to music, right? Whether it’s on Youtube, Spotify or some other app, there’s a playlist we listen to. I never have the time to organize my playlists or create new ones for some occasion. So, I started using some of my free time to do that. I recommend writing down your songs and then sorting them out. Maybe you have podcasts you listen to? You can do the same with them!

Since there’s a lot of rural areas around Tetovo, I definitely recommend going on hikes, bike riding or just simply taking a walk! You can invite your friends, go with your family or you can even go by yourself. If you’re not into the outdoors, then I’d recommend watching some of your favorite shows or reading some books or comics you’d enjoy!

So, what do you think? Can you fill up most of your free time with these activities? Or would you rather just sit around and do nothing?
