Trends on Instagram and TikTok
Every person these days has access to social media. The most famous social media platforms are: Facebook, Vsco, BeReal, YouTube and others. But my favorite Social media platforms are Instagram and TikTok.
Instagram is an app that was founded by Facebook on the 6 of October 2010. On this app you can add stories, take pictures and videos and chat with your friends (basically it’s a more modern version of Facebook). People mostly use it so they can show off their life. The stuff they post about the most are their vacation, concerts, their awards and having a great time with their friends. On Instagram Reels the memes are the most popular there. People follow popular accounts who post about the stuff they are interested in. The most popular accounts are fashion, sport, workout, healthy life accounts. The most popular celebrities are Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Selena Gomez, Kylie Jenner and Dwayne The Rock Johnson Instagram. Overall, Instagram is a very fun app.

TikTok is an app where you can watch and make videos. TikTok is more popular among younger people and kids. It started to get popular in late 2019, early 2020. The videos which you are seeing on your For You page are by your taste and your interest. The most popular person is Khaby Lame. He lives in Italy and he got popular in 2021 for funny videos and reactions. The trends these days are different from 3 years ago. Dancing was the thing that TikTok was known for. The people that made it popular are Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae, but these days it is less popular. You see more and more of people shortening clips of films, YouTube videos and interviews and making them into parts, Edits about sports,celebrities…
