Voices on the Wall: The Art of Youth Expression

When people hear the word graffiti, many think about simple drawings on walls. Some see it as art, while others see it as vandalism or damage to property. In reality, graffiti is a form of street art that can be found all around the world, including in Macedonia.

If you ask me, graffiti can be both vandalism and art, depending on the circumstances. Artistic graffiti is usually made with permission and has a clear message.

On the other hand, graffiti without permission counts as vandalism. For example, if someone paints graffiti on private property without permission, it can damage buildings and make the neighbourhood look less organised.

In my opinion, graffiti can be a voice of the younger generation and a modern way to express ideas to society.
