Things to Do in Tetovo
Tetovo is a beautiful town in northwest Macedonia, surrounded by the breathtaking Shar Mountains. It’s a place full of history, culture, and natural beauty, making it perfect for both locals and visitors looking for something special to do.
Here are my favourite things do to in Tetovo:
1. Visit one of the many cafés that Tetovo has to offer.
Many young people go to cafes to drink some coffee, or just to sit back and relax. Most popular cafés in Tetovo are: Simple cafe, Dvor 21, Mios, Гужва, SP1RI7, Maestro, Mulliri and many more..
2. Walk along the Pena river.
Take a beautiful and peaceful stroll along the Pena river or sit down at one of the benches and just chill
3. Visit the popular historical and cultural landmarks.
Most popular landmarks are:
1. The colourful mosque is one of Tetovo’s most beautiful landmarks. Built in the 15th century its patterns and designs are breathtaking and worth a visit.
2. Arabati Baba Tekewas originally built in 1538 around the türbe of dervish Sersem Ali Baba and because of its striking architecture, the Arabati Baba Tekke has become an iconic symbol of Tetovo.
3. The Leshok Monastery contains the churches of St. Athanasius of Alexandria and the Holy Mother of God Church. The Church of the Holy Virgin,was built 1326, and is an excellent example of Byzantine style and architectural tradition.

Tetovo is known for fantastic macedonian food and a wonderful ambiance.
Try different cuisines from around the world in the many restaurants tetovo has to offer.
My favourite restaurant is Punto Verde. Punto Verde serves italian and mediterranean cuisine which by me are the tastiest types of food. Also i have to compliment the cleanliness and the wonderful ambience and the very polite staff.
