Two High School Innovators Introduce a New Solution for Everyday Services
High School Millionaire is a new national competition designed to give students the opportunity to create innovative business ideas for which they can be rewarded.
More than 438 projects designed by students from all over the country were submitted, and from all of these, only 50 were selected by the organizers, which have the opportunity to be voted on by the public and are closer to the winning prize of 1,000,000 MKD. Among the 50 contestants who were closer to the grand prize with innovative ideas for business development, we have the duo from Tetovo, Emili Andreeska and David Apostoloski.
Emili and David have created a plan for an online platform called uslugi.mk which will offer various services, a range of opportunities, offers, jobs, and the ease of finding all services in one place.
I had the opportunity to interview them and understand more about their vision. So we will have the opportunity to see it from their point of view. During the interview I asked about the inspiration and where this idea came from, whether it was a personal need or a problem they had encountered, and to this, Emili said: “The idea came from a problem we all face — when we need a service, we search through many places: groups, pages, apps, and social media. At the same time, small businesses and craftsmen are hard to find online. We wanted to create one simple, central place that connects everyone.”
They had a comprehensive idea regarding the services and opportunities they wanted to provide to all types of businesses. Regarding the services that the uslugi.mk platform would offer, they said: “We imagine the platform as the most complete service catalog in the country. It would include categories and subcategories — repairs, construction, beauty, private tutoring, digital services, creative work, food, transport, pet care, cleaning, mechanics, service providers, and even places to go out, restaurants and cafés. The goal is for users to find literally everything in one place. “
How does their platform stand out from existing solutions, and who are the users they are targeting? We have the answers: “Our concept is bigger and more organized — the goal is to have all services in one place, neatly structured and verified. We focus on transparency and equal opportunity for every service provider, whether a company or an individual. “ When asked about their target group, they stated:
“Everyone who needs or offers a service — general users, small businesses, freelancers, and individual craftsmen who don’t have online visibility.”
Their idea is inspiring and contemporary, it is a motivating journey for all young people who have aspirations towards success, it is a journey that has opened doors to success, and has given them a new experience. This applies to all young people who have innovative ideas and want to achieve something, they just need to find the right resources, whether local or international, because the social world offers us opportunities.
This is how Emili and David encourage young people to embark on new journeys: “Don’t wait for the perfect moment — just begin. Do some research, make a small plan, find someone to collaborate with, and apply to competitions. The experience and confidence you gain are the biggest reward.”
This is a message to all young people to try to find ways to achieve success, to all young people who aim for a future, don’t stop looking for the path to success!
