Guys, a New Style Coming Out!!!!

Teen fashion is a big part of the fashion world today. Every week stores come out with many new clothes and accessories knowing that teens or the younger generation will take to them and buy them. Also, every week clothing designers come out with new fashions for teens all over the world.

What is it that makes teen fashion so important to teenagers in the world we live in today?

Not everyone has the money to buy brand or designer clothes all of the time, especially teens unless they have a job to buy their own clothes with. And in most cases, every average child or teenager has to wear what their parents can afford for them. The kids that don’t have name-brand clothes get made fun of, called names, and teased a lot. This is not fair when it happens to these teens or children who don’t have any cont or choice but who wear the clothes that are bought for them.

Those kids that get teased must and do feel down on life, and when they do, they can not concentrate on school. Some people have been killed and beaten up for the clothes that they wear or for not wearing cool clothes. All kids should be cool for who they are and not what they wear to school.

The person, not the clothes, has the personality. The person is who we all have to be friends with. Kids and older teens take the clothing issue way to far.

 They’re clothes for crying out loud! You wear them for a day, take them off, and put on clean ones.  Teens should not be worried about what they wear. But, unfortunately, some people believe that they need to take it one step further by putting that person down to make themselves better than the boy or girl who doesn’t have the name-brand clothes.

I believe that at some point in a person’s life they realize what it feels like not to have those designer or name-brand clothes.

A Comparison of how teenagers dress before and now

Teens in today’s generation dress and have a different taste in fashion compared to that of teenagers 10, 20, or 30 years ago. In terms of style, we have a more “revealing” kind of look but in terms of comfort, we have much of that. Teenagers before dressed to what their hearts desired to wear, but now we tend to go with the trend and lack originality.

In cases like this, teenagers now copy the fashion style of teens before. But, the style before was much more sophisticated and elegant compared to the modern style and fashion now. If we were to rate and choose our favorite kind of fashion, we would pick the fashion years ago. Today’s fashion may be strong and gives meaning in every which way but the sense of visual presentation gives less impact on people. The brands that teenagers prefer are usually those that have styles that blend with the trend. Teenagers nowadays, choose their dress or clothing wisely because, for them, it’s not just the style of the clothing that’s important but also its brand. So they prefer famous brands to ordinary ones.  Like Mango, Chanel, Nike, Gucci, Adidas, Louis Vuitton, Zara, H&M, Prada, Rolex, Victoria’s Secret, Dior, Forever 21…

Why is Fashion Important?

Fashion is important because it reflects the culture of a country. It makes our life colorful and changes our life with time. In a way it also adds variety to life, providing an opportunity in trying out something new. Fashion is not only limited to clothing or makeup but in a much broader sense includes accessories like shoes, perfume, hairstyle, mannerisms, etiquette, and attitude towards life. Fashion is not restricted to self-expression only but also a means of self-empowerment and confidence. It encompasses the total spectrum of human activity, which relates to a specific period. It is an outlook of life. Fashion is how you carry yourself in society without wearing anything trendy. It is how you attempt to make yourself look flawless even without any makeup.
