About Us

Pegasus ELS is a language school situated in Tetovo, which specializes in promoting the English language and culture through language courses for adults and young learners, employing contemporary methodology and modern technical applications. The school works with a team of qualified teachers trained by CELTA/ESOL standards.

Pegasus ELS aims to become a multimedia centre for informal education of adults and young learners where the main focus is on the communicative approach in realizing the educational goals from the curricula integrated in the EFL language courses. The school offers an innovative approach in learning English as a foreign language, and introduces the participants with the cultural features of the English speaking countries. Therefore, Pegasus ELS offers interactive language classes for adults and young learners in order to promote and enrich their understanding of the English language, as well as to enhance the communicative skills of the participants in the EFL programs for adults and young learners offered by the school, necessary for furthering their academic and professional development.

Its aims are to research new models and approaches that will enable a more successful attainment of our goal: developing the participants’ language and communicative skills. Thus, Pegasus ELS is an institution dedicated to fostering new ideas that will bring it closer to this objective.

The training course for teachers covers the fundamentals of teaching practice, with the aim of helping them gain confidence in the classroom, and successfully apply the methodology promoted by the school.

PEGASUS ELS offers interactive approaches to language learning for young learners, integrating communicative styles of learning, as well as creative solutions to enhance students’ participation in the learning process. The school engages in extra curricular activities as part of its Drama Club, Video Workshop and English Fair, organized at the end of each school year.

PEGASUS ELS is a qualified institution, certified by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia, offering EFL classes to adult learners based on the standards endorsed by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The school offers a special program – English Language for Adults – with the goal to advance the language and communicative skills of the adult learners for the levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2 offering a certificate, verified under the Law on Adult Education and recognized on national level, thus answering the requirements of the labor market.

Pegasus ELS organizes creative workshops primarily for the young learners in order to enhance their motivation in learning the English language through drama, music, and video projects.
